Fiber Optic Solar Light Stake
This item (a single stake) is just magnificant when it lights at dusk! The nylon fibers are easily swayed by the slightest breeze. The colors automaticly change from red, to blue, to green as the stake's nylon fibers emit a soft glow. The stake operates on one rechargeable NiCd battery: 1.2v/600mAh. (included). Recommended charging time for solar cell: 8-10 hours per day for approx. 8 hours of glow time. Item life estimated at 1000 days. [** I have kept my light out since it was first received last summer. I live on top of a drumlin that catches every breeze and have noticed that some of the nylon fibers have broken off due to high winds. Am currently assessing the damage from the winter's weather effects.
